Our Materials
18K Gold Plated & 925 Sterling Silver
All LYANG & CO. pieces are crafted on a 925 sterling silver base, finished with either premium 18K gold plating or rhodium coating for brightness and tarnish resistance. Nickel-free, hypoallergenic, and designed for daily wear.
Implant Grade Titanium (coming soon)
Exceptionally lightweight, 100% nickel-free, and biocompatible — the safest choice for helix, tragus, conch, and rook piercings, including freshly healed ones. Made for highly sensitive ears and known metal allergies.
For the Sensitive Ears
All LYANG & CO. earrings are nickel-free and hypoallergenic, crafted in 925 sterling silver, 18K gold plated sterling silver, or implant grade titanium (coming soon).
If you have sensitive skin or a mild nickel sensitivity, our sterling silver and gold plated pieces are a safe everyday choice. If you have a stronger metal allergy or freshly pierced cartilage piercings, we recommend our implant grade titanium flatback studs — the most skin-safe option available.
Care Instructions
To keep your pieces looking their best:
- Avoid contact with harsh chemicals including cleaning products and chlorine
- When not in use, store in a pouch or a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight
- Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth after each wear
- Apply perfume, lotions, and sunscreen before putting on your jewellery
- Handle with care — while our pieces are designed for everyday wear, avoid excessive force or impact to keep them in their best condition
A note on gold plating:
All plated jewellery will naturally show wear over time with daily use. To extend the life of your plating, keep pieces dry, avoid rubbing against hard surfaces, and store separately to prevent scratching.
